Community Guidelines

Last updated: June 2026

These guidelines specify the user obligations from our Terms of Service for profiles, calls, and meetings. They are part of the contract between you and us.

1. Profile rules

  • One profile per person/account. Multiple accounts are not allowed.
  • Profile photos must show you, and be current. No photos of other people, no AI-generated or heavily manipulated images as a profile photo (catfishing).
  • Minimum age 18. Profiles depicting minors or created by minors will be deleted and reported where required.
  • No commercial advertising, no spam, no external contact details posted as self-promotion in the public profile.
  • No circumvention or manipulation of the payment and talk+ mechanics, and no multiple or throwaway accounts to use paid features for free repeatedly. This is an anti-abuse rule and does not limit your statutory right of withdrawal.

2. Conduct in chat and calls

  • No harassment, insults, discrimination, threats, or sexually inappropriate behaviour.
  • No grooming and no contacting or approaching minors.
  • Calls run anonymized through the app — you never have to share your phone number. If someone pressures you to do so, that's grounds for a report.
  • Recording calls (audio/video) yourself without the other person's explicit consent is prohibited and may be a criminal offence depending on your jurisdiction.

3. Reporting and blocking

You can block any profile via the app, or report it with a reason (harassment, fake profile, inappropriate content, spam, other). Reports are reviewed by our team. Depending on the severity of the violation, measures range from a warning, to restricting individual features, to immediate account suspension without notice.

A blocked person can no longer contact or call you.

4. Photo verification

Verification selfies are automatically pre-screened by an AI model (gesture authenticity, no obvious spoofing, no inappropriate content). This check is a suggestion only — your profile's actual verification status is always decided by a human member of our team. We may additionally run an automated face match against your main photo to make fake profiles harder.

5. Safety for in-person meetings

If you decide to meet in person after a call, you can share a meeting location and time with a trusted contact in the app and set up a check-in. We recommend choosing public places for a first meeting and not sharing your full address with anyone before meeting them in person.

6. Violations

Violations of these guidelines may, depending on severity, result in a warning, feature restrictions, account suspension, or deletion — for severe violations (e.g. harassment of minors, threats of violence) without prior notice. We report criminally relevant content to the competent authorities where legally required or appropriate.
